Projects, Engineering, and Storm Water Management
Fire Hydrant Replacement and
Pennington Street Water Main Project
The Town of Middletown recently obtained funding through the Office of Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the U.S. EPA, established to ensure safe drinking water for all Delawareans, to furnish the equipment, labor and materials to replace approximately 600 linear feet of 8-inch cast iron water main and all associated water services along Pennington Street.
Also contained in the project is the replacement of 22 fire hydrants throughout various locations in Middletown.
At this time, the Town predicts the Pennington Street project will be completed by mid-January and the fire hydrant replacement should be completed by mid-February.
