Wanted man nabbed in Middletown

On Aug.14, at about 10 p.m., officers from the Middletown Police Department observed a subject in the area of a vacant residence near East Lake and North Catherine streets. Upon seeing the officers, the subject fled to the rear of the residence. Officers located the subject later identified as Terrance Crosby, 40, of the 900 block of Janvier Court, Middletown. Officers determined that Crosby was wanted on three outstanding capiases from the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas. He also had marijuana on his person. He was taken into custody and arrested without incident. The incident occurred within 300 feet of the Rehoboth Apostolic Church.
Mr. Crosby was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance within 300 feet of a church, and three capiases from the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas. He was arraigned and received a $2000 secured bail.
He was then transported to the Howard Young Correctional Facility in lieu of his bail.
