Police seek public's help to find suspect

Middletown Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a male subject named David Fletcher involved in a Burglary and an Assault investigation. After being questioned by police at Christiana Hospital, Fletcher became irate and combative was restrained by police and hospital constables. Subsequently, Fletcher was held for medical evaluation and later fled the Christiana Hospital. Fletcher is currently wanted on warrant by the Middletown Police for Resisting Arrest and Breach of Release for a Violation of a domestic related No Contact Order as well as several capiases out of the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas including a capias for Violation of Probation, New Castle County Family Court, and Justice of the Peace Court #11.  Anyone with information about the unknown male’s location is asked to call 9-1-1, the Middletown Police at 376-9950 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Tip-3333.
