Police search for theft suspect
|Date:||January 11, 2012|
On Sunday, Jan. 1, Officer First Class John Stuart of the Middletown Police responded to 117 East Cole Blvd. in reference to a fraud complaint.
Stuart learned that the 80-year-old victim had lost or misplaced his PNC Bank debit/ATM card. The victim stated that once he realized that the card was lost, he notified his bank and had the card canceled. Prior to the cancellation of the card, there were seven unauthorized charges made on the account. The charges included purchases made at several retail locations in Middletown.
Stuart was able to recover video images from locations where the purchases were made and positively identified the suspect as Pamela Goldsborough, 46, of Middletown.
Goldsborough was observed in the video to be in possession of and using the victim’s PNC Bank card. Warrants were obtained charging Goldsborough with identity theft, seven counts of felony unauthorized use of a credit card, which is classified as a felony due to the age of the victim, and theft.
Anyone with information regarding Pamela Goldsborogh’s location is asked to contact 911, the Middletown Police Department at 302.376.9950 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-847-3333.
