Dover woman charged with $30,000 theft from bowling alley

On May 6, at about 3:35 p.m., the Middletown Police Department responded to Mid-County Bowling Lanes, Middletown, in reference to an internal theft. The reported loss was approximately $30,000.
The investigation revealed that the defendant, Diana Carter, 67, of Dover, a long-time employee, had been taking funds from various accounts over the past six months.
As a result of the investigation, Carter was arrested and arraigned on two counts of felony theft, she received $5,000 unsecured bail and a no contact order with the victim.
