Middletown teens charged with heroin possession

Date: June 6, 2012

   On May 29 at about 9:20 p.m., Officer Matthew Schneider observed a driver commit a traffic violation in the community of Millbranch.

   As he attempted to stop the vehicle, he observed several items being discarded from the vehicle as he was stopping it.  These items were later found to be a large amount of heroin (43 packaged baggies) and marijuana. 

   The driver, Bryce Holton, Jr., 18, and his 17-year-old passenger, both of Middletown, were arrested.

   Additional marijuana was discovered in the vehicle.

   The juvenile was arraigned on the below charges and was released on unsecured bond pending a hearing in Family Court.

  3. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  4. Aggravated Possession of Marijuana
  5. Conspiracy second degree

 

   Holton was arraigned on the below charges and was committed to Howard Young Correctional Facility for lack of $23,000 secured bond.
