Police to offer Summer Youth Academy for boys

The Middletown Police Department will be holding their 2012 Summer Youth Academy for young men 12 to 15 years of age. Officers Ronald Davis and Joseph Womer have been selected as the lead instructors. The Academy will be held at the Redding Middle School from July 23 to Aug. 3.
The purpose of this academy is to provide males, ages 12 to 15, with a “Life Skills” based program. Topics will include respect, discipline, honesty, physical fitness, nutrition, responsibility, and substance abuse.
