Bicycle, vehicle collide at Dickerson Boulevard

On April 10, at about 8:43 p.m., Middletown Police were dispatched to East Main Street and Dickerson Boulevard, in reference to a report of collision between a motor vehicle and a bicyclist. The investigation revealed that a 26-year-old Middletown resident was traveling on Cleaver Farm Road toward Dickerson Boulevard at the time of this collision.

The driver of the vehicle, Ryan Zuvic, 26, of Brady Circle, did strike a 15-year-old male bicyclist as they both entered the crosswalk of East Main Street and Dickerson Boulevard.

The juvenile was knocked from the bicycle and was transported to Christiana Medical Center by Delaware State Police Helicopter, for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  The victim sustained fractures to his left ankle and right clavicle. 

The driver of the vehicle was cited for inattentive driving.
