Middletown Main Street, Inc. is excited to announce the lineup for its annual summer series “Music on Main.” This year, all three events will be a unique mixture of music and fun for all ages and styles.
On Friday, July 11, “3 Day Weekend” takes the stage at the Forest Church lot. “3 Day Weekend” is a high-energy trio from Middletown, fronted by Chuck Kuzminski, owner of CKuz Guitars. 3DW performs a diverse mix of Classic & Modern Rock, Country and Blues.
On Friday, Aug. 8, “The Joe Trainor Trio” closes out “Music on Main” for 2014. “The Joe Trainor Trio,” a piano-based rock band, known for its engaging original material and energetic live shows, was voted ‘Best Live Band’ in 2013 by WSTW.
Jump on Over will have inflatables set up in the Forest Church and town hall lots. There will also be food and drinks, face painting and an array of family friendly activities.
Live entertainment will also be featured at Cochran Square on all three dates, beginning in June with "The Sugarmamas," a 6-piece band featuring classic rock for all occasions. Barb & Keith Ayres will be playing in July. Come out and see them -- this will be one of their last gigs in Delaware. Irish music will be playing in August.
