Middletown pharmacy robbed, police seek suspects

On Nov.17, 2014, at about 7:12 p.m., the Middletown Police were dispatched to the Living Well Pharmacy, located at 723 N. Broad St., Middletown, for a robbery that just occurred.
The investigation revealed that two African-American males entered the business and immediately went to the pharmacy counter. At the pharmacy, they forced their way behind the counter and threatened the co-owner as they demanded various narcotics. During the incident, one of the subjects struck the victim.
The victim’s two young male children were in the employee lounge. They were manhandled and threatened by the other suspect.
After taking an undisclosed amount of narcotics and currency, they both fled in a dark colored Chevrolet Uplander.
The first subject is described as an African-American male between 40 and 50 years of age, 6’ to 6’ 2” in height, 175 to 200 pounds, unkempt beard with gaps in his teeth. He also displayed a handgun and was the one who struck the victim.
The second subject is described as an African-American male, in his 30s, 5’ 8” to 5’ 10” in height, heavy build approximately 220 to 230 pounds. He implied that he had a handgun.
The victim’s two children were not physically injured.
The Middletown Police are requesting the public’s assistance in helping to identify these two dangerous individuals.
