|Date:||April 1, 2013|
On March 31, at about 3:20 a.m., Middletown Police were dispatched to Willow Grove Mill, Trupenny Turn and Hampden Court, in reference to a single motorcycle collision.
The investigation revealed that a Kory Dyer, 33, of Port Penn Road, near Middletown, was traveling westbound on Trupenny Turn when he lost control of his 2013 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. As he lost control, he struck the curb and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
Dyer was transported to Christiana Medical Center by Delaware State Police Trooper 4 Helicopter, where he was admitted in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing. Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the collision.
