Daniels charged with burglary, gun theft

On the evening of Nov. 19, 2015, Middletown Police were alerted to a burglary that occurred during the daytime hours at the 100 block of West Cochran Street. The 62-year-old victim reported that several items of jewelry and a handgun were removed from the residence. It was discovered that a window was damaged to access the residence. Through the investigation, it was determined that Quinn Daniels, 33, of North Catherine Street, Middletown, entered the residence and removed the items. A warrant was issued on Nov. 30 for burglary second degree, criminal mischief under $1000, theft under $1,500 with a victim 62 years of age or older, theft of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited.
