Middletown man charged with robbery and heroin possession

On Sept. 5, 2017, at about 9:30 a.m., Middletown Police Officers responded to the M&T Bank located at 399 E. Main Street in Middletown, in reference to a bank robbery. The suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, and demanded money. The suspect obtained approximately $1,640.00 Unites States Currency and fled the business on foot.

The suspect was later identified as Todd Miller, a 23 year old white male of Middletown. On Sept. 6, an arrest warrant was obtained for Miller in reference to Robbery 1st Degree and Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony. Shortly after, he was taken into custody in the 300 block of Hostetter Boulevard located in Middletown, and was found to be in possession of 221 bags of suspected heroin. As a result, Miller was subsequently charged with Possessing a Controlled Substance in a Tier 1 Quantity.

Miller was arraigned on the above listed charges, as well as additional outstanding warrants. He was issued a total of $44,500.00 secured bail and was committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Facility.
