Three charged with 301 Plaza Robbery

On Oct. 05, 2017, at about 2:14 a.m., Middletown Police Officers responded to the 301 Truck Plaza located at 921 Middletown Warwick Road in Middletown, in reference to a robbery involving three suspects that just occurred.

Investigation revealed one of the suspects, a white female wearing a dark colored hooded sweat shirt, dark pants, a ski mask, and gloves entered the store, approached the clerk, and demanded money while threatening and implying the use of a firearm.

This suspect obtained an undetermined amount of money while a second suspect, described as a black male with a light colored hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants was seen standing outside of the front door of the store. The third suspect remained in the driver seat of a silver Kia Forte for the duration of the incident.  

The Middletown Police Department alerted local authorities in Maryland and provided them with a description of the suspect vehicle. A short time later, Elkton, Maryland Police Officers located the vehicle and took the three suspects into custody. The suspects were identified as Amanda K. Hodgson, 26, of Wilmington; Bryant L. Brown, 29, of New Castle; and David Logan, 37, of Wilmington.

Hodgson was subsequently charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, and Conspiracy 2nd Degree. Brown was subsequently charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, and Conspiracy 2nd Degree. Logan was subsequently charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Conspiracy 2nd Degree.
