Middletown Election
Election Day in the Town of
Middletown will be Monday, March 3, 2008, from noon to 8 p.m. at Town
Hall, 19 W. Green St.
The election will be held to elect three two-year
councilmembers and one one-year councilmember.
Town residents 18 and over are eligible to vote.
Proof of residency is required. To prove residency,
residents should bring a driver's license or Delaware identification card, a
uniformed service ID card, another current photo identification card issued
by the state of Delaware; U.S. Government; the voter's employer, high school
or higher education; a current utility bill, bank statement, credit card
statement, a paycheck or pay advice, or another type of bill or statement.
The filing deadline closed on Monday, Feb. 11, at 4:30 p.m.
Absentee ballots will not be available for this year's
election.

Board of Elections
The
Town of Middletown's Mayor and Council appointed a Board of Elections that
will begin service for the election March 3. The members are (Pictured at
right, left to right) Lorraine Reeves of Cricklewood, David Rich of
Longmeadow and Sonya Comstock of Springmill. The Board will oversee the election on March 3.
